High Value

High Value Surveys

Recommended for homes valued at $500,000 or more, Castle’s High Value survey report serves as a benchmark for the entire industry. A primary focus of our survey is to determine an accurate replacement cost of the home and document the unique construction and architectural features. Castle gives you a choice of replacement cost calculation engines, including, but not limited to, Castle’s proprietary replacement cost data, MS/B, e2Value, ISO HomeValue, and XactValue. In addition, our loss control experts will identify underwriting concerns and make recommendations on how to prevent a future loss. This information can assist you in providing an extra level of service for your most important clients.

Intermediate Dwelling Surveys

A slightly scaled down version of our high value inspection report, this survey is recommended for mid-value homes. Our intermediate reports are conducted by Castle Field Representatives with high value expertise.

Training

The majority of Castle's high value appraisal staff is comprised of former underwriters, adjusters, loss control consultants, architects, and real estate appraisers. In addition, Castle has the most comprehensive training and staff development program in the industry. This includes extensive class room and field training, as well as ongoing advanced seminars and web based training modules. In recognition of our expertise, Castle is regularly called upon to conduct training seminars for insurance underwriters and agents.

Quality

All reports undergo a thorough quality control process to assure consistent quality. This includes automated rules checking and a detailed review by our experienced Quality Control staff. In addition, there are escalation procedures for very high value and complex risks, which are individually reviewed by a manager or senior appraiser.  All reports are graded and feedback is passed on to the field representative.

Professionalism

Since our inception, Castle has emphasized the importance of professionalism throughout our organization. Our image represents your company; therefore, we select only the most skilled individuals to be Castle appraisers. To reinforce this commitment, professionalism is a central theme of our training program and is integrated into all aspects of the appraisal process. Our mission is to properly represent you and earn the confidence of your clients.
